About the role 

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will assist in various administration tasks, including front of house reception at our beautiful Ballina Hub.
  
This is a permanent full-time role Monday to Friday 9 – 5pm.

Responsibilities

  • Front of house reception, assisting clients regarding services offered by Auscare Support. 
  • Assist potential NDIS funded participants to access the NDIS.
  • Assist NDIS participants to understand their NDIS plan and assist with budgeting supports
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Complete intake, including service agreements and schedules of support for new and existing clients 
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the Ballina Hub on a daily basis
  • Support with Auscare operational activities including phones, petty cash, stationary and office equipment, marketing activities and assets register.
  • Assist with activities and events facilitated from the Ballina Hub
  • Organise postage and mail outs
  • Monitor and respond to email and webchat enquiries

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS Guidelines and Pricing Arrangements
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High level technical skills and data systems experience
  • Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds using a person centred approach
  • A positive, can-do attitude and ability to be a self-starter

You will need

  • 100 points of identification
  • Relevant State’s Working with Children Check
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Full Australian working rights
