Support Coordinator

Monique

Support Coordinator

Location: Central West NSW

Started with Auscare Support:

January 2023

What I do:

My aim for my clients as a support coordinator is to demystify the NDIS and help them understand the funding in their plans, and what this can mean for them in terms of achieving their life goals in day to day life.

I enjoy working with my clients’ and their families/support networks to expand their horizons and connect them with the supports that suit them.

Unique skills:

Interpersonal relationship skills, verbal and written communication skills, well organised, ability to empathise with other peoples situations.

Other interesting roles:

I have worked in two main industries apart from human services being hospitality and the veterinary industry. Both of these roles I was in a management position which has helped me learn to mentor and appreciate my team of workers and to have a better understanding of human behaviours.

What’s Auscare Support like?

So far, my experience with Auscare Support has been wonderful! They have welcomed me into the team with open arms. The onboarding process was informative, easy to follow and well thought out.

Life outside:

Life outside of work keeps me very busy! With two young children, aged 5 and nearly 2. I love to be outdoors with my family and friends, and I also have a strong passion for exercise and anything relating to animals.

To sum me up:

People in my life describe me as caring, competent and organised.
