Started with Auscare Support:
October 2023
What I do:
I support NDIS participants in building capacity to empower them to reach their goals. I do this by genuinely getting to know each client and their family, their needs and aspirations, and to create an effective and holistic plan that works for them.
Unique skills:
I am professional yet bubbly and approachable, with a high level of empathy. This empathy has enabled me to be successful in various roles throughout my career and is why I am driven and passionate about supporting people in achieving their goals.
Previous experience:
After completing a Diploma in Community Services (Case Management) I am now studying a Bachelor of Psychology. I have been working in the mental health sector for three years, working closely with NDIS participants and supporting clients along their journey to empowerment and peace.
Other interesting roles:
I worked as a hairstylist and salon manager for ten years. This experience set the foundation for my career, creating close client relationships built on trust and providing exceptional customer service. I have also worked in the real estate industry and trained as a meditation teacher
What’s Auscare Support like?
I love and resonate with Auscare’s pillars – I knew I was in the right place when I discovered these! On top of this, the Auscare team has been so welcoming and supportive.
Life outside:
I have two children, practice yoga and meditation, play guitar, love to read and I am always studying courses of interest. My family and I love to snowboard, mountain bike, bush walk, and play Sunday afternoon board games!
To sum me up:
Warm, genuine, and empathetic, with a passion for supporting clients within the mental health and disability sectors.
