Started with Auscare Support:
November 2024
What I do:
As a support coordinator I believe my role is to understand each person’s unique story and goals. I work collaboratively with participants and their providers to make choices that align with their needs and effectively utilize their funding..
Unique skills:
With extensive experience in complex case management and counseling, I have a proven track record of engaging effectively with the NDIS, Aged Care, Disability, and Health sectors. As a self-motivated, creative, and practical professional, I also bring firsthand knowledge of navigating the NDIS as a parent of children with Autism, adding a deeply personal understanding with my expertise.
Previous experience:
With a diverse background as a Specialist Support Coordinator, Complex Case Manager, Access and Inclusion Specialist, and Rehabilitation Counsellor, I bring a wealth of expertise and a deep understanding of supporting individuals in achieving their goals.
Other interesting roles:
I was a partner in a Work/Life Balance business in the private sector for eight years. We operated as a small call center, assisting employees of subscribing companies with finding emergency childcare, dog walkers, yoga classes, cleaners—you name it!
What’s Auscare Support like?
The Auscare team has a great energy and commitment, which was evident from my very first phone calls. The team and their systems provide excellent support to coordinators, allowing them to focus on working closely with their participants.
Life outside:
I’m more of a homebody when I’m not at work. I enjoy walking the dogs and spending simple, quality time with my family. I’m a weekend cook and book enthusiast who loves a good cuppa and a chat.
To sum me up:
I am a practical, empathic optimist.
