She has worked predominately with participants with complex needs, building their capacity and independence and to ensure they receive the best care and support.
Rebecca is outcomes focused and feels passionate about assisting participants to achieve their goals. Outside of work, Rebecca has performed in local theatre and loves home reno shows (much to the dismay of her husband and young son)!
Mark has ten year’s experience supporting people with a mental illness or disability. Mark worked both in a residential setting and supporting people in the community. In his last position he helped individuals with a mental illness increase their independence and develop the skills to live in the community. Mark strongly believes that all people should be supported to live their life in the way they choose and that’s why I am passionate about my role.
Mark spends most of his time outside of work with his family, going out to the beach and parks. Mark also likes to watch the Dragons play, go to the gym, and binge Netflix.
The office puggle – a cross Jack Russel/Pug. Milly is a gentle reminder that we should all celebrate the simple things in life, like leisurely walks and long naps .
Always in the office with the team, she is the grand old dame of AUSCARE.
I have worked in the area of workers compensation and the disability sector for over 25 in variety of roles where I had the opportunity to provide support to people in vocational counselling, employment, community engagement and independent living. I’ve also worked with youth in foster care and mentoring.
More recently I have been working as a Support Coordinator providing guidance on choice and control through the NDIS.
I have a passion for innovation and inclusion to help people to live the live they want to live. I believe we all have the power to achieve our dreams.
I am one of the new recruits, having recently joined the AusCare team. Whilst I consider myself a “jack of all trades” within the disability sector with over 10 years experience from conducting assessments, sales and marketing, human resources, staff training and WHS , this is my first time being a support coordinator and I LOVE IT. I look forward to helping NDIS participants to reach their full potential.
In my spare time (if that’s actually a thing) I enjoy spending time with my husband, 5 children and the assortment of animals on our farm, growing my own vegetables, socialising with my friends and shopping.
Background in Accounting and Bookkeeping, loves numbers, spreadsheets and financial plans.
So is the ultimate Plan Manager!
Hopes participants can access all their allocated NDIS funds, and thus, achieve a great support plan
To keep sane, in this crazy world, loves tennis, netball, skiing, shopping, friends, wine and hanging out with her family.
John is the AusCare Chief Intake Officer (CIO).
I am the official first point of contact for Auscare referrals and enquiries. I believe all participants and carers should be treated with the utmost professionalism and respect.
I am always available to help the Plan Managers and Support Coordinators.
On a lighter note I am also an avid Sydney Roosters tragic fan and also enjoy playing my 6 Guitars only trouble is trying not to make the other five jealous when I’m on # 6
