What is the NDIS?
In 2013, The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was established. The core goal of the NDIS is to support people with permanent and significant disability.
On 1 July 2020, the staged national geographical roll-out was completed. It is estimated that over 500,000 Australians will have access to the scheme by 2025.
The NDIS can provide all people with disability with information and connections to services in their communities such as doctors, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools, as well as information about what support is provided by each state and territory government.,

The growth of Auscare
Auscare Support now supports over 1,100 NDIS participants and their families.
Over the past 12 months, Auscare Support has experienced exponential growth and we are very proud of this achievement.
Our Mission Statement has always been ‘to empower great futures for our clients and their families.’ The rapid growth we have experienced has provided us with the opportunity to provide services to more NDIS participants across the country. Some highlights from the past year include:
- The total number of Auscare Support clients has more than doubled, along with the total number of Auscare Support Coordinators hitting 30!
- Our head office and administrative team has grown too, including the appointment of our fourth Plan Manager and two Support Coordinator Coaches.
- We now provide services to clients in NSW, SA, VIC, QLD, TAS, ACT and NT. With the roll-out of the NDIS in WA on 1 July 20, we can now provide services to participants living there.
- We have attained an Excellent star-rating from over 80 reviews on the world’s most popular review platform, Trustpilot®.
