Auscare support is excited to introduce you to Tanya Pisk. Tanya is one of the Support Coordinators assisting NDIS participants in the inner-city and southern suburbs of Sydney.
Tanya is passionate about assisting her clients to achieve their goals, build their capacity, and exercise control over the supports they receive and how they receive them.
Tanya has extensive experience working in the public and private health system.
She has held many administrative roles ranging from receptionist, ward clerk and transcriber. Tanya has also worked with the Family Advocacy team at a large disability services provider.
Tanya pursued a career as a Support Coordinator with Auscare Support so that she could make a positive difference to the lives of people with disability – to help them obtain the services they need in order to live a happy, healthy and productive life – just like everybody else. Most of all, she wanted to be able to help people to believe in themselves and prove they can achieve anything.
Auscare Support is proud of its reputation for providing the highest level of service to our clients. If you are an NDIS participant looking to engage a Support Coordinator or a service provider exploring Support Coordination services on behalf of a client, please contact Tanya today.

A Moment with Tanya Pisk
Why did you pursue a career in the disability sector?
I have a disability myself and am very active despite not being able to walk. I want to inspire others that they too can do whatever they desire in life if they are being supported in the right way and with the right resources.
What do you like most about working at Auscare Support?
I have only been working with Auscare Support for a short time, but so far I really like the people that I have met. It seems like a very supportive organisation.
Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl.
Do you have a favourite saying or inspirational quote?
I seem to say this one all the time… “It is what it is.” LOL!
Do you have any pets?
Elvis the cavoodle.
Do you have any hobbies?
Diamond painting, going for long walks, movies, reading, travelling (especially going on cruises).
If you could invite anyone to a dinner party (past or present), who would they be?
Helen Keller – She is an inspiration to me as a person with a disability.
Favourite holiday destination...
Anywhere along the coast of Australia.
Don't just take our word for it
“Finally! A provider of Support Coordination with sound knowledge of their role and comprehension of how the NDIS framework operates. I can now spend more quality time with my son, trusting that the plan we have worked so hard to achieve will be under Auscare Support’s Guidance.”
