Auscare support is excited to introduce you to Nicholas Browne. Nicholas is one of the Support Coordinators assisting NDIS participants in Sydney, the Central Coast, and Hunter regions.
Nicholas is passionate about assisting his clients to achieve their goals, build their capacity, and exercise choice and control over the supports they receive and how they receive them.
Nicholas has over 10 years of experience in the disability sector and has worked in a variety of roles, including Psychology Therapy Assistant, Education Assistant, Support Worker, Area Manager, and Executive Manager of an NDIS service provider.
The most rewarding part of Nicholas’ role is the opportunity to assist people to live a good life and to achieve their goals, to help them feel connected and be part of their communities.
In his spare time, Nicholas enjoys swimming, photography, hiking, and cooking.

Why did you pursue a career in the disability sector?
I feel the type of work I do is rewarding and has purpose. I enjoy providing support to someone who needs it most and helping them to become more independent and confident in their own abilities. Every day is a chance to do something different and make a difference.
What do you like most about working at Auscare Support?
Flexibility and autonomy.

Do you have any pets?
Not at the moment but I’d love to get a dog when the time is right.
Do you have any hobbies?
Swimming, surfing, boating, photography, plants, and cooking.
Coffee, pistachio nuts, oranges and ice cream.
If you could invite anyone to a dinner party (past or present), who would it be?
Favourite holiday destination?
Anywhere warm and with a beautiful beach and tropical reef for exploring. I also enjoy visiting major cities with culture and history, especially in Europe and the UK.
