Auscare support is excited to introduce you to Lianne Solomons. Lianne is one of the Support Coordinators assisting NDIS participants in the eastern suburbs of Sydney.
Lianne is passionate about assisting her clients to achieve their goals, build their capacity, and exercise choice and control over the supports they receive and how they receive them.
Lianne is an experienced Support Coordinator who enjoys making a difference in people’s lives. She assists her clients to receive the supports they need, to achieve the goals set in their NDIS plan, and to live their life to the fullest. Lianne never takes no for an answer and will always look outside the square when challenges arise. She works closely with her clients to ensure that they have choice and control over the supports they receive.
Lianne grew up with a family member who has an acquired brain injury and her husband has Parkinson’s Disease. She understands both the challenges and the happiness that each day brings when caring for a person with a disability.

A Moment with Lianne Solomons
Why did you pursue a career in the disability sector?
I have always wanted to assist people who require assistance and have difficulties navigating the NDIS. I also have family members and close friends with family who have a disability. I am passionate about making a difference in their lives.
What do you like most about working at Auscare Support?
As a contractor I like the freedom to perform my job independently. With Auscare, I also have excellent backup and support from the amazing people I work for.

"Don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today, make every moment count."
Do you have any hobbies?
I love the outdoors, bushwalking and travelling. I have recently taken up 4x4 with a Ford Wildtrak and just completed my first 4 wheel driving course.
