Auscare support is excited to introduce you to Lija Taylor. Lija is one of the Support Coordinators assisting NDIS participants in western Sydney.
Lija is passionate about assisting her clients to achieve their goals, build their capacity, and exercise choice and control over the supports they receive and how they receive them.
Lija started her career in the disability sector seven years ago. She has experience working as a Support Worker, a Teacher’s Aide and as an Office Manager in a School for Specific Purposes.
Lija’s son has Muscular Dystrophy and uses an electric wheelchair for mobility. She has been the driving force behind establishing junior teams in the NSW Powerchair Football competition so that her son, and other young people with a disability, can participate.
The opportunity to make a difference and play a part in achieving positive outcomes for her clients is the most rewarding part of her role as a Support Coordinator.
Outside of work, Lija enjoys going to the theatre, attending concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
Auscare Support is proud of its reputation for providing the highest level of service to our clients. If you are an NDIS participant looking to engage a Support Coordinator or a service provider exploring Support Coordination services on behalf of a client, please contact Lija today.
