About Ula

Ula Llewellyn 
Support Coordination

Started with Auscare: June 2021

Ula has over 25 years of experience working in the disability sector.

Ula was an Official Community Visitor for the NSW Ombudsman, advocating for people with disabilities living in residential care.

She also worked in State and Local Government consulting people with disabilities and implementing Disability Action plans to improve inclusiveness in services and programs.

The most rewarding part of Ula’s job is having the opportunity to empower people with information and improving access to supports they require to reach their goals and to have a fulfilling and inclusive life.

In her spare time, Ula enjoys gardening, going for walks in nature, and travelling.

Early on in my career I became aware of the inequalities and barriers people with disabilities unnecessarily encounter and I developed a passion to do something about it.

Meeting a variety of people and working with them as a team to improve their quality of life.
