I work with NDIS participants to help implement their plans and link with mainstream and community supports to help them work towards achieving their goals. Assisting participants to build capacity and independence is a very rewarding part of my role.
Started with Auscare Support: July 2021
I am creative, innovative and try to see things from the perspective of the individual or family I work with.
I have 20 years’ experience working in the disability sector.
I started my career as a Disability Support Worker and worked with clients in Tasmania, Melbourne and the UK. I then moved on to become a Local Area Coordinator (LAC) and Early Childhood Intervention Coordinator.
Prior to joining the Auscare Support team, I worked as an Autism Advisor and Support Coordinator.
Other interesting roles:
When I lived in London, I promoted bars and night clubs and ran teams of people.
What’s Auscare Support like?
I like the independence and autonomy of working for Auscare Support. I also love the support that is provided to the Auscare Support Coordination team.
In my spare time, I enjoy going for bushwalks, listening to music, spending time with family and friends and going on adventures. I also like to try some DIY around the house.
To sum me up:
I am a hard-working and driven individual. I am passionate about my work and know how to get the job done.
