Started with Auscare Support:
May 2025
What I do:
I help participants navigate the NDIS so they can live the life they want. I tailor the support I provide to each person’s needs, so they can make the most of their plans and work towards achieving their goals. I help resolve any issues and connect participants with service providers that are right for them.
Unique skills:
I have personal experience navigating the NDIS on behalf of my son. I had to strongly argue for my son to receive the support he needed. I know how overwhelming it can feel trying to get the support you need. This is why I am so passionate about helping others work through the system.
Previous experience:
I was a personal injury lawyer for 13 years. So I have lots of experience analysing legislation, compiling evidence, writing persuasive submissions, negotiating great outcomes for clients and appearing in Court. All of these skills are really useful as a Support Coordinator!
Other interesting roles:
I have also worked in my own small beauty business. Just like with Support Coordination, I built close relationships with my clients. Both roles suit me because I love connecting with people and learning all about them.
I am also studying psychology at university because I have always been fascinated with how people think, feel and behave.
What’s Auscare Support like?
Auscare Support is a professional company with great training, systems and support. And everyone is kind and passionate about what they do.
Life outside:
I love getting outdoors with my two sons. We take our dog to the beach nearly every day. I also like snuggling up with a good book.
To sum me up:
I am passionate, hard-working, and outgoing but I am also kind, warm and empathetic.
