What I do:

As a support coordinator at Auscare support my role is to assist participants understand there NDIS plans and help guide them throughout their NDIS journey. It is my priority to help all my participants feel heard, empowered and supported to reach their individual goals. I work with great care, determination and passion to find the supports and solutions my clients need to live a fulfilling life.

Unique skills:

I have extensive experience working hands on in the disability sector with participants who live with various physical, neurological, neurodiverse and mental health disabilities. I am a avid researcher and have a unwavering drive and dedication to help my participants in achieving their desired outcomes. I hold space to really listen to my participants needs and empower them to have control and confidence in their choices and feel heard, supported and respected.

Previous experience:

I have a background in mental health in community services and aged care. Before contracting to Auscare Support, I have worked as an independent NDIS support worker for the past 4 years working closely with participants and their families within their homes and community. Within that role I gained insight into NDIS participants’ individual needs and values, I have seen where they had been let down and there needs not being genuinely heard and worked towards in a productive manner, this experience gives me greater drive and passion on how I conduct myself and my work as a support coordinator.
