Started with Auscare Support: May 2020.
First as a Support Coordinator and after a few months I put my hand up for the Recruitment Manager position, having worked in Recruitment in a previous life.
What I do:
Currently I’m working closely with the Support Coordination coaches to improve our recruitment and onboarding process for our Independent Support Coordinators. My goal is to grow our team of Support Coordinators across the country. So far, we are in QLD, NSW, SA and are now starting to move into VIC and the ACT.
I try to combine my creativity, commercial experience, an eye for detail in every aspect of my work. I place a strong emphasis on relationship building and am always looking at ways to improve, whether it be my performance, systems, company processes or experiences for others.
I have predominately worked in small businesses and have experience growing and managing teams. Developing a progressive and positive work culture is always the most important aspect of my work.
Other interesting roles:
I previously worked in men’s made-to-measure tailoring, we made custom suits working with European fabrics and tailoring each garment to the individual customers fit. I loved every aspect of this industry from the quality of the product to the process, along with providing a high-end experience for the clients.
What’s Auscare Support like?
I love being a part of an intelligent and progressive team. Being a small business, my role feels ever changing, I’m always taking on new projects and responsibilities and I enjoy the variety. I enjoy working in an industry that is focused on improving the lives of individuals living with a disability, you get to hear a lot of positive stories and it can be very rewarding work.
I have a puppy dog called Baker, he is a Spanador, which is a Lab x Cocker Spaniel, he is the best thing we ever did! He takes up most of my spare time!
The sentence that sums you up as a person is:
