What I do

I look after the administration and media side of Auscare. Answering general enquiries, helping new clients with intake, being a friendly welcoming face in our Ballina Hub. I also manage our social media over a variety of platforms.

Started with Auscare Support: May 2020.

Unique skills: I am very organised and love talking to people which helps when answering phones and enquiries. I also love design and social media so I am looking forward growing our audience and connecting with people. 

Previous experience:
I have worked as an Interior Designer for 20 years, I have also created and run a charity for young women. Organization skills, deadlines, Social media, working with a variety of people with varying backgrounds and needs..  all of these skills I can apply to Auscare.

Other interesting roles:
I worked in fashion in Melbourne while I was at University. I love fashion and design and generally working in a team.

What’s Auscare Support like? 

Auscare is a very welcoming place to work and I have felt very much part of the team in the short time I have been at Auscare. We have a great ethos of inclusion, empowerment and truthfulness which I really admire.

Life outside:

I am lucky that I live close to the beach so I spend a lot of time there with my family. I love entertaining friends at home. My creative outlet is pottery and I love how relaxing it is to create something from clay on the pottery wheel.

The sentence that sums you up as a person is:
I love to laugh, am a bit of an extrovert, love people and am always learning.
