Auscare Support – we have stated our mission. But how do we make sure that we achieve it?
For those of you who missed our previous article, we described the origins of Auscare Support and reaffirmed our mission statement.
To quickly recap, the mission statement of Auscare Support is (** Drum roll please **)
“To empower great futures for our clients and their families!”
But how do we achieve this?
As I mentioned in my first post, we achieve this in a variety of ways, but the most fundamental way is by creating a workforce of talented individuals who are given the ability to be:
Let’s define these words and then see how they empower the Auscare team to strive to achieve our mission statement for our clients.
For those of you who are clients of Auscare Support, hopefully you have already experienced evidence of this approach. But for those of you interested in what this means, it boils down to trust.
The team at Auscare Support are trusted to do what is right for their clients, and for the company.
Most days the office is empty. Everyone works remotely from home or on the road, or wherever suits them.
Auscare Support don’t want people to waste time travelling to the office, to deliver the same level of support that you could do from home, or from a café overlooking the beach, or from wherever.
But we also give autonomy to these team members to choose the number of clients they support, the days they work, the time they work.
This means that the team have the flexibility to pick up kids from school, or support parents who are unwell, or, just work the amount of hours that they need or want to.
This work life balance enables them to focus, when they are working, on delivering a premium service. Quality, person-centric care…delivered to individuals and their families, without being micro-managed or tied to being at a desk 9-5.
A recent hire in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, has now become so busy that we are looking to hire for them a second team member. Whilst there will be a more senior Support Coordinator and a more junior one… it is important for us to be very clear that there is no team leader or manager.
Everyone’s opinion is equally important. Everyone’s time is equally valuable. Everyone in the team should be focused on delivering the proactive solutions that will generate positive outcomes.
So there you are – Proactive, Responsive and Outcome Focused support that drives us to ‘Empower great futures for our clients and their families.’
