Join Our Team: Deliver Real Change to Your Support Coordination Clients

Interested in delivering real change to your Support Coordination clients?

Over the last few months, we have been putting together a one-stop-shop for anyone thinking of making the switch and joining the Auscare Support Coordination Team.

Our new Support CoordinatorLanding Page details the benefits of working for Auscare Support as an Independent Support Coordinator, along with information about who we are, the process to get started, and what you will need to bring to the role.

Working as an Independent Coordinator of Supports (ICOS) you will operate as an independent contractor and align yourself alongside Auscare Support who will do the heavy lifting, giving you more time to focus on what’s most important: autonomy, mastery and purpose.

What do you mean by heavy lifting? Auscare Support provide our ICOS with the necessary training and continual development required to be successful in the role, along with support in software, marketing and compliance.

Auscare Support is a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider and meets all the NDIS Quality and Safeguards requirements.

What do you need?
To be successful, you need the following:

  • disability support coordination or extensive support work experience;
  •  working experience as a local area coordination, or experience in the aged care or community space;
  • A person-centred, proactive and outcome-focused approach to your work;
  • A current police clearance;
  • state recognised working with children’s check;
  • Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance coverage;
  • Current Australian Business Number (ABN);
  • Your own mobile phone, internet and laptop.

Ready to apply? Submit a current CV and supporting Cover Letter by visiting our new Support Coordinator Landing Page.

The process
If shortlisted for the role you will be contacted via telephone for an initial phone screen, from there you will be asked to complete a short online video application which will give us an insight into your personality and work ethic. Once completed you will undergo a panel interview with Lauren Oostryck our Recruitment Manager along with Jo McIntyre and Vanessa Geage our Support Coordination Coaches. If successful from there, we will complete reference checks and progress you to the induction and onboarding process as well as provide training and support in marketing yourself in your local community.

Want to learn more about this exciting and rewarding career opportunity? Our new Landing Page has it all, including a first-hand account from one of our Independent Support Coordinators, Lija Taylor, on why she made the switch to Auscare Support.
