Expression of Interest: New Therapy Services, Groups & Programs for Young People in the Wingecarribee Shire

Auscare Support is excited to announce the planned introduction of therapies, groups, and programs for young people living in the Wingecarribee Shire.

We want to hear from you, the community, about what services you would like to see introduced to support your child.

These are examples of some of the services we plan on offering:

  • Psychology;
  • Occupational Therapy;
  • Speech Therapy;
  • Physiotherapy; and
  • Behavioural Support.

We are developing modern rooms located in central Bowral that will feature consultation rooms, a sensory room, and spaces for groups and programs.

In addition to offering these therapies, we will also explore the introduction of a number of groups and programs, including:

  • Friday night games night (board games such as Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer, and Magic the Gathering);
  • Organisational skills development to assist with school work/homework and homework support;
  • School Leaver Employment Skills (SLES);
  • Music Therapy; and
  • Mentor program to assist young people with mental health challenges and/or disability

Call us now to register your interest in any of these services or any other services that would benefit your child/tween/teen/young adult.

      Hi Crystal, thanks for your feedback. Many of the therapies we are looking at introducing have a very long waitlist and we hope that by introducing these services, we can assist young people and their families in the Southern Highlands. We will definitely keep you informed. Take care.
