A Plan Manager is similar to a Bookkeeper.
A Plan Manager is responsible for receiving invoices from a participant’s supports, drawing down funds from the NDIS portal, and remitting those funds to the organisation who have delivered the support service.
Additionally, the Plan Manager will send monthly statements showing expenditures to date and remaining balances.

How do you select to be Plan Managed?
At the planning meeting, a participant will be asked what their preferred mode of funds management is. They may specify a Plan Management provider at this point, or, alternatively, they can appoint a Plan Manager once the plan is approved. Approximately 40% of NDIS participants select to be Plan Managed.
If you are Self or Agency-managed, can you switch to Plan-managed?
