Why did you pursue a career in the disability sector?
Growing up in a tiny town in the Riverina, I am a huge believer in helping people and giving back. My dad broke his neck when I was young, resulting in him becoming an incomplete quadriplegic. Being part of the inspiring way he came back from this adversity and continues to be a positive, self-declared comedian, whilst achieving so much has been nothing short of amazing. This played a large part in my interest within the sector – to help people and give back.
